When I use a bold or thick/large font it appears filled in on the paper and model space, but prints out hollow.  Only a thin line, that out-lines the text.  I have tried uninstalling AutoCAD and reinstall, however I was unsuccessful.  Any Suggestions?

RE: plot hollow text

Try textfill. I believe that 1 fills the text and 0 leaves just the outline. could be wrong on the order.

RE: plot hollow text

If in Model or Paper Space, when in the Plot dialog box make sure that the Hide Plot box is not checked. If in Paper Space select the viewport window outline, select the grip and right click. Select proprities and ensure that Hide Plot is not checked.
This is how I solved my problem.

I also had to reset the Textfill variable one other time as cadkid stated.Hope this helps.
