#104 SJ joist & #126 SJ-1950s
#104 SJ joist & #126 SJ-1950s
(OP)
I ordered the 80 year historical joist book but it will take a few days to get it. Would anyone be kind enough to share the allowable load tables for these joists in the meantime!
Thanks,
Thanks,

Can you get more specific??

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly but the joists on the existing drawings have been called out as #104 S.J. and #126 S.J.
RE: #104 SJ joist & #126 SJ-1950s
WHOA - just happened to open to a much older section - 1930's
From Jan 1, 1930 -
SJ104 was good to 100,000 in-lbs and max end reaction 0f 2200 lbs. Looks like max span was limited to 20' - not sure why.
SJ124 - 115,000 in-lbs and max R of 2300 lbs. Span limit was 24'
Found 1948 & revised 1952 - same as above
Hope that helps
