Chemical cleaning of the gas piping

Chemical cleaning of the gas piping

Chemical cleaning of the gas piping

(OP)
Hi,

Can anybody explain my briefly procedure of chemical cleaning of the gas piping. Or in which standard I can find this procedure. I cannot find anything in B31.1 or B31.3.
Does is allowed to make flushing with diesel (LFO) ?

RE: Chemical cleaning of the gas piping

Chemical cleaning of gas piping is most often not done. When required, it is most often done with inhibited citric acid or other weak acids. You need to provide the service conditions for which the gas is used to obtain a better discussion; e.g., as fuel for a combustion turbine, fired heater, gas distribution, etc.
