ASTM A108 MAT'L TYPE?

ASTM A108 MAT'L TYPE?

ASTM A108 MAT'L TYPE?

(OP)
Does ASTM A108 make any allowance for the use of wire?

Coil form (usually applicable to wire) is mentioned in Section 1 and 4.1.12

Is it possible to produce bar in coil form and therefore the coil references have nothing to do with wire?

Is seems that this spec is written solely for bar, but we need to be sure whether or not wire is permissible.

RE: ASTM A108 MAT'L TYPE?

ASTM A108,4.1.12,For coiled product, the coil weights, inside diameter an outside diameter limitations when required. so,i guess you can used Weight character for wire.
