Lighting clearance from hydronic heating element

Lighting clearance from hydronic heating element

(OP)
Hello,

I was trying to find CEC reference which discusses clearance of luminaire/lighting fixtures from hydronic ceiling radiant heating element, but am unable to find one.  Please do point me in the right direction should there be a code that addresses this issue.

Thank you.

RE: Lighting clearance from hydronic heating element

Hi katwalapan,

I don't think there is a code. You'll have to rely on manufacturers' temperature ratings and your own heat transfer calculations.

Please red-flag this post or the other one(s) you have posted.  Multiple posts of the same topic/question are not permitted, please see forum rules.

Good on ya,
