CHECK-RAS Data Extract Error

CHECK-RAS Data Extract Error

CHECK-RAS Data Extract Error

(OP)
Running CHECK-RAS version 1.4 for the first time and have followed all installation and setup instructions to the letter.  When I get to the extract data step I get the "Error: data extract" error message (I do not get the "checkras id <> csid" message).
I'm running HEC-RAS version 4.1.0 - my project is a modified version of an effective FEMA HEC-RAS model that I'm using for a CLOMR submittal.  It has many reaches and a few junctions.
Any suggestions would be appreciated (I have already checked the FEMA "additional guidance for CHECK-RAS, version 1.4" page)

I seem to remember changing an option on the HEC-RAS table that worked for me a long time ago but I can't remember what it was or find the solution again.
