Connection lost when saving

Connection lost when saving

Connection lost when saving

(OP)
This started a few weeks ago.
Ever time I click on save (any file), I get the "lost connection" error.
I can not figure out what causes this. Any ideas?
I'm the only one in the office with this error.
My laptop uses Windows 7.
I usually have to click on cancel 1-2 times, then start over until it will finally save.

RE: Connection lost when saving

We had this on and off for 5 years on our network.  Funny thing is, that we have been free of this scourge since we went to SW2011 & Win7.  Many peolple have found that cycling thru all your configurations will get it so you can save.

Anna,
Thanks. Yes, checked everything.
I'm wireless to the server. All other computers do not have this issue.
I have checked everything that I can think of, but still not sure what's causing it.

RE: Connection lost when saving

Wireshark is a packet sniffer. If you are at work they might frown on it. It allows you to see all the packets going in and out of your interface card. It will show what is happening at that level and thereby uncover whether it is a network issue or not. You might need an IT guy to decipher the output. But it will highlight connection issues that even a novice can see there is a problem.
