Centrifugal Compressor Curves at Different Inlet Conditions

Centrifugal Compressor Curves at Different Inlet Conditions

Centrifugal Compressor Curves at Different Inlet Conditions

(OP)
Greetings,

in our little start-up we have written a software that we would like to validate with as much data as possible. We already have field data from our measurements, but we would like to make sure that we are doing things right over a broad range of conditions.

Our problem is simply summarized by the fact that we are finding difficulties in collecting centrifugal compressor curves at different inlet conditions.

We would like to kindly ask to this forum if there is a source of such curves that we are unaware of. We would also like to know whether the participants of this forum have ideas on how to collect this sort of data from possible sources.

Your help is much appreciated, thank you!

RE: Centrifugal Compressor Curves at Different Inlet Conditions

regarding obtaining centrifugal compressor curves (source of information), forward your request to the compressor manufacturer.  short of the manufacturer furnishing the curves, you can develop your own, but that takes time, proper equipment, and resources.

a resource for testing centrifugal compressors is ASME PTC-10.

good luck!
