Attemperator reheat spray in lab

(OP)
Hi,

I'm in a need of ideas for this one. I've been assigned on a project which attempts to research attemperator reheat spray damage to the piping (thermal fatigue). I'm planning to use a tensile machine and some kind of heating device along with a spraying mechanism in order to imitate real conditions. I'm looking for ideas on how to get started..any eng-tips?

Best regards,
S.
