How can I get MathCAD to show flux density in units of Guass
How can I get MathCAD to show flux density in units of Guass
(OP)
I typed in the equation for flux density using cm^2 for the core area and the other units are Volts, Turns and time.
I expect mathCAD to give my answer in either Tesla or Guass.
The answer which it gives is 10^4 times what it should be (if the answer were in Guass) but it doesn't give units.
How can I make MathCAD display the answer in Guass?
Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

If not, it probably would be best for you to post a worksheet.

Why do you have a 10^8 in the equation? Mathcad understands units, so there should not be any conversion values

My mistake was in working with cgs units. The 10^8 is the common formula when working in cgs units but MathCAD works in MKS so this isn't needed; just type in the numbers. Double clicking to the right of the "T" opens the dialog box to replace units with Guass instead of Tesla.
