Dear All Members,

Our Company has to make a repair in the shell of jacketed vessel containing liquid oxygen at -196C.
We are going to do such sort of job for the first time. I mean this is our first experience with Cryogenic vessel.
I have to qualify welding procedure. What special cares I should take?
What are the suitable electrodes and wires? Shell is of SS304.

I would follow the requirements in ASME B&PV Code, Section VIII, Div 1. UG-84 and UHA-51.

308L - stay with GTAW
