I'm trying to come up with some kind of benchmark forming speed for carbon steel vs Stainless Steel. (sheets) Any help, the www isn't helping much. I understand there are quite a few variables involved, but just looking for a general answer.
Thanks

Are you referring to roll forming slabs/plates into sheets???? Depends on the type rolling mill(s), working temperature, type of carbon steel, type of stainless steel. There is no general answer.

Sorry should have been more specific, I'm looking for maximum stamping speeds.
