Does anyone have any experience getting Xsteam to work in their own Excel worksheets?  The program works great for me as a separate file, but I cannot figure out how to use it within my own files.

I'm sure there is a way but I cannot get it to work.

As always, any help is appreciated.

RE: Xsteam

Yes, you should be able to just drag the XSteam macro modules into the modules section of any other workbook, inside the Visual Basic editor.

Or you could save it as an add-in and have the functions available in any Excel file.

Maybe I need to work on integrating the open macros.

I've done my own but never embedded any in my sheet.

I tried adding them as add-ins and it shows up in the listing, but none of the functions work.

I'll surf around online for a good source on how to do it.

Thanks.

To close this thread out, I figured out what my problem was.

I saw on a website that I had to have a macro within my workbook.  So, I added a very simple macro and now the Xsteam works great.

Cheers.
