can anyone inform if the wedge in the atatched drawing is split wedge. If not what is the type of wedge found in the atatched darwing

The attached file refers to double expanding wedge gate valves which is differ than split wedge.

Please also note that all the drawings (split wedge, sw 1 and sw 3)  have a reservation (not translated) in french: cet données sont indicatives...etc.

Translation: All information is indicative and may be changed without any previous notice.

This is not an uncommon reservation, but all legal binding documents should be without reservation and with all details confirmed.

Further advice: both end-user and supplier should confirm with reference to exact drawings and/or exact description (end user for instance with reference to one or more valves of exact manufacture/model acceptable if not detailed description is available.

'Split wedge' is not a 100% exact description, as demonstrated, neither is the standard drawings presented.
