How to suppress Hole Wizard sketches?

How to suppress Hole Wizard sketches?

How to suppress Hole Wizard sketches?

(OP)
Hi,

Every time I make a hole with the Hole Wizard, it sketches a circle at the surface that will show through ALL solid parts in an assembly.  How can I suppress these circles?  I see their value for certain applications, but once the number of holes starts rising, it makes a zoomed-out assembly almost unintelligible.  I've tried everything from clicking through the "view" menu, Googling it, etc. and somehow have not found anything about getting rid of them.

Please help.

Thanks.

RE: How to suppress Hole Wizard sketches?

CheckThePlug,

Try going to View -> Hide All Types.

Yes, that does work, but is there a more targeted way to remove them?  What if, say, I want those gone, but I want to see normal sketches as I often use inserted pictures for logos, etc.?

RE: How to suppress Hole Wizard sketches?

When creating the tapped hole, HW has an options section which allows, "Tap Drill Diameter", "Cosmetic Thread" or "Remove Thread" options.

Also go to Tools > Options > Document Properties > Detailing > Display Filter and deselect the Cosmetic Threads option.
