I am going to prepare specs for propane compressor,procces give min inlet tempreture of 2 deg c how I can specify the MDMT(Min design Metal temperture?

From process conditions, or from ambient conditions when shut down?  Normally it won't be below or above min/max process conditions, however in extreme ambient conditions, you might want to consider specifying special temperature requirements, and note them as such.
