Welding CA40 fiiting to Carbon steel

(OP)
Hi,
I need to weld a fitting made up of CA-40 (Martensitic stainless steel) material to carbon steel (A106) pipeline. The fitting end connection size is 25NB Socket Weldable.

I'm looking for the advice on the following:
•    Welding consumables (SMAW)
•    Recommended Preheat Temperatures
•    Recommended  PWHT procedure
•    Any other Do's and don'ts

Thanks in advance.

Braze should work,I doubt it meets any code.

blacksmith,

Thanks for your response.
Brazing won't be acceptable in this case and welding process is mandatory.
