i'm an doing a research on shot peening using ANSYS.. I have never previously used ANSYS, so i was wandering how to do this process using ANSYS. I'm very new to ANSYS so step by step instructions will be best..please help..thank you

start with tutorials and validation in the ansys help on transient structural.
consider the explicit dynamics solver.
look at the documentation and consider your specific needs/requirements as you build knowledge of the software.

read, read, read, experiment, google, etc.

so to perform shot peening in ANSYS 13.0, i have to use the trasient structural tab in it..cause in the workbench they have a lot of toolbox i.e ( vibration,thermal and so on)..
