Confusion about acoustic infinite element section

Confusion about acoustic infinite element section

Confusion about acoustic infinite element section

(OP)
Hi,

I am trying to setup a 2D plannar model with acoustic infinite elements along the boundaries. From the help document, it seems like acoustic infinite elements can be created in CAE without manually edit input file (am I right?).

Here is the steps I have tried:

1. create a 2D plannar part and a referent point inside of the part.

2. create a material that has acoustic medium property.

3. create a section that is acoutic infnite.

4. assign section to the part.

The problem is in step 4: I cannot see the acoustic infinite section I created!

I am sure I made some mistakes here but I don't know where...Please help me.

Thanks a lot!
