Importing heat fluxes

Importing heat fluxes

Importing heat fluxes

(OP)
Hi,

I am trying to transfer heat fluxes which are calculated by an aerodynamic CFD calculation into Abaqus. I created already a model simular to the one used in the CFD calculations and created a structural mesh on it. The data I have from the CFD calculations are x, y and z coordinates and the value for the heat flux at this node.

So structural mesh and CFD mesh are not the same, shape of the model is. Can anybody give me an answer or direction on how this can be done in Abaqus (using version 6.10).

Thanks,

Dieter
