Hi all.

Have any of you ever heard of a steel with the designation NES 70?  It appears on a 1955 passenger railcar component drawing made by the now defunct Budd Co. (Philadelphia)

I'v tried Matweb, Azom, and a few other sites to no avail.

Thanks,
GA

RE: Hi all. Have any of you ever hea

I think that Budd was acquired by Thyssen. You could try their website and ask them.

RE: Hi all. Have any of you ever hea

Hi
I looked in the world wide guide to irons and steels and found nothing close. It isn't a foriegn designation of any kind.
