Add hatching inside draft geometry---

Add hatching inside draft geometry---

Add hatching inside draft geometry---

(OP)
Hello world,

I'm in V5R18 wondering if there's an easy way to create hatching inside some geometry I made myself, i.e. draw a rectangle with hatching to represent a bulk item.

I've thought of the linear pattern but am hoping there's some easier workaround.

Can anyone help? Or effectively grind my dreams to dust?

Thanks,
Ainsley

RE: Add hatching inside draft geometry---

In the drafting workbench, use the Area Fill tool to add hatching, dots, or color to your rectangle.

Or are you trying to do this in 3D?

Jack,

No, that is exactly what I wanted. I guess I couldn't find this in the search because it's so simple! Some things you don't know until you come across them, I guess.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Ainsley
