Paper space viewport problem

Paper space viewport problem

Paper space viewport problem

(OP)
I work with ACAD 2004.   When scaling objects in one or more viewports in a layout, all viewports will atomatically undergo a zoom all making it impossible to scale objects within all viewports.  Is there a command which will prevent this occurence.

RE: Paper space viewport problem

Have you "locked" the view in each viewport?

RE: Paper space viewport problem

Check the UCSFOLLOW system variable, I forget whether you want it to be 0 or 1...

Locking the view did work and I am familiar with that command, however, I should not have to invoke that command.  Unfortunately the original drawing was not mine so I have no idea what was done.
I'll check out the UCSfollow system variable.
Thanks for the replies.
