RISAFoundation - moment on a pile

RISAFoundation - moment on a pile

Does RISAFoundation calculate the moment on a pile due to lateral load?  I see shear, compression and tension in the pile design check, but no moment check.

RE: RISAFoundation - moment on a pile

No, it does not.  The program is not trying to design the pile itself. It's assumed that the allowable loads (shear, tension, compression) come from some other calculation or soils report.

For piles, the program's main focus is on desiging the pile cap, and analyzing how much load will make it's way into each pile.
