quarter section

quarter section

(OP)
I have a ring shaped straight bevel gear with a regular pattern of threaded holes to mount it. All is needed in order  to detail it in drawing, is a longitudinal section and a quarter section (to dimension angular pitch between holes). In my case, half a section would be incorrect (generally in tech drawing information redundancy or larger than necessary views are not allowed).
The only options for sections are: Full, Half, Partial, Broken, but I need to cut a quarter, the equivalent of half-sectioning twice, drawing the appropriate axes of symmetry (for this reason I cannot use Partial or Broken).
Any workaround?

RE: quarter section

You need to set it up in the model, not the drawing.

Assuming you have the cut plane where you want it, you need to set the x section as an offset instead of planar.

You then sketch the cut on the plane. You'll get the idea when you have a go yourself. Its pretty self explanatory.
