Combine Bodies (Subtract)

Combine Bodies (Subtract)

Combine Bodies (Subtract)

(OP)
I can seem to use the combine feature.

I have two solid bodies in my part, that are overlapping, and the combine button is still grey in the feature menu.

I even tried doing it with just two cubes, as I thought maybe my one body was to complex . . . no luck.

Am I missing something? Help!

Thanks.

RE: Combine Bodies (Subtract)

Are you certain you have more than one body?  I just did a test and the combine feature works fine if two bodies exist... even if they don't overlap.  The combine feature is grayed out if there is only one body.

RE: Combine Bodies (Subtract)

Select the second feature, enter Edit Feature mode and deselect the Merge option. Then try the Combine tool again.

Thank you, un-highlighting the merge option did the trick!

I appreciate your help,
Nicole
