Using "superpose" to move a view relative to an existing view?

Using "superpose" to move a view relative to an existing view?

(OP)
I have two isometric views- (1) existing and (1) I created. The view I created has an axis that is in a different location from the part geometry than the existing view.  I want to be able to superpose the view I created with the existing one.  How can I project the view using the same axis as the exising view?  I have tried selecting different axes when projecting but the part geometry ends up in the wrong location

RE: Using "superpose" to move a view relative to an existing view?

Did you try copying the existing isometric view, and applying your scene to the pasted iso view?
