Steady flow input fundamental question

Steady flow input fundamental question

Steady flow input fundamental question

(OP)
When inputting steady flow data, does HEC RAS not accumulate the flow downstream from station to station.

ex1 could be considered as the representation of the inflow specific to teach station

ex1
Station 500    flow 100 CFS
Station 300    flow 50  CFS
Station 100    flow 200  CFS

Schematic attempt______________________________________________
      Station 500     |   <-  100 CFS
                      |
      Station 300     |   <-  50 CFS
                      |
      Station 100     |   <-  200 CFS

Do I have to manually input as
ex 2
Station 500    flow 100  CFS
Station 300    flow 150  CFS
Station 100    flow 350  CFS
?

Which is the correct format to input the steady flow data?

Input much appreciated.

Regards

RE: Steady flow input fundamental question

It does NOT accumulate.  Enter it like your Example 2.
