I'm searching a reference book for control system

I'm searching a reference book for control system

Hello,

Does someone know a reference book for control system? A book with just essential formula, not with a lot of demonstration. A book focusing the practice in analog and digital field. For example: how calculate parameters for PID controller, how simulate with Matlab or much better scilab because it's free, and test the control system with analog components and a microcontroller to learn and understand a digital system.
I can't find a book in french so i'm searching an english book.
Also I find a book intitle "Introduction to Control Engineering" from Elektor
http://www.elektor.com/products/books/electronics/en-introduction-to-control-engineering.1710028.lynkx
But I didn't know if it's good or not, maybe it what am I searching...
Someones know it?

thank you for answers

It sounds like you should be searching for a 'handbook'.

Best one that is good for basics and has some more detailed PID stuff is Modern Control Engineering by Ogata.
Best yet.

Thank you, "Modern Control Engineering" is very huge and interesting, there are some electronics circuits and example with matlab. It's a pity, there is no part for digital equations with controllers...
