ENP = Plating
The latter is usually preferred, I believe.

Snorgy! Thank you!
Obviously then this refers (by wording) to two different technical processes (which might be overlapping for some, but probably not all processes).
Answer: yes, there is probably a difference!
You have to ask customers for which detailed description and norm they will accept, and what procedures and qualifications (certificate, manuals, procedures, QA -systens etc., etc they will accept, (or what you will accept if buying)).
RE: Is there any difference between ENC and ENP for a ball valve?
gerhardl, I definitely know what C stands for and what P stands for, whether I am a native speaker or not.
I was asking what's the process and performance difference of these two trims.
RE: Is there any difference between ENC and ENP for a ball valve?
Gerhardl's post is trying to <gently> let you know that people from all sorts of different industries from all around the globe participate in these forums.
So while you know what "ENC/ENP" mean, not everybody does. It therefore makes it harder for others to help you with [u]your[u] problem.
Maybe if you had taken the extra few seconds to type out: "Does anybody know the porcess and performance differences between electroless nickel coating and electroless nickel plating" you might get more germane answers.
Then again, when your initial post is lazy and your first response disses someone who's been around as long as gerhardl and who is one of the "most valuable players" on this forum (see that list to the right??) expect that others aren't going to bother with you.
