Offset Staggered Weld Notation

Offset Staggered Weld Notation

Offset Staggered Weld Notation

(OP)
See the attached image for the staggered offset fillet weld I want to be applied. The black blobs are weld bead.

I found a site that shows the image in the lower right hand corner, but the weld is different than what I want. It shows the start of the second bead at the end of the first bead, but on the opposite side of the piece. How do I note in the weld symbol that I want there to be a distance between the end of one bead and the start of the next? Is it just a note on the tail of the symbol with something like "offset welds by X distance?"

After thinking about it, I answered my own question. The offset between welds is determined by the bead length and pitch.
