broken view question

broken view question

broken view question

(OP)
How to do a broken view in a iso view in Nx7.5. I have created a broken view- OK - but the segments can not be moved in the iso direction only in sheet csys- are broken views in iso views not supported?
regards

RE: broken view question

Generally, broken views are only supported as orthographic views.  The reality is that, at least prior to NX 8.0, Broken Views consist of a separate view for each segment which means that in the case of an isometric view, you'd have to be able to align views along some non-orthographic axis which is just not possible since views are positioned in 2D space on the face of the Drawing.  So while any one view can represent isometric space, the views themselves are objects positioned in 2D orthographic space.
