Problem on thd_metric.dat

Problem on thd_metric.dat

(OP)
Hi,
I add at the end of the file the value for the BSPP thread.
I add this BSPP standard on the customer default, but I've problem to use.
Someone can help me ?
Attached video, part and file.

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC8.3

RE: Problem on thd_metric.dat

I'm sorry, but using YOUR version of the 'thd_metric.dat' file and YOUR part file, I've tested this using NX 7.0, NX 7.5 and NX 8.0, and in all cases it works just fine.  Remember that you have to include the text BSPP to the end of the list of the symbolic threads at...

Customer Defaults -> Modeling -> Feature Settings -> Symbolic Threads

Hi John,
thank you for the test.
This setting in the customer default is set, without this, as you can see in the video, I could not able to select BSPP.
Anyway there is a variable to tell to NX where is this file, maybe someone has deleted or changed this value.
I will investigate.

Thank you for the patience demonstrated.

Thank you...

RE: Problem on thd_metric.dat

Yes, there is a variable where you can point to a customizes version of the thread data table:

UGII_METRIC_THREADS= <path to your customized data file>

RE: Problem on thd_metric.dat

Since I tended to modify my thread files, I used the variable to point to my customized files so any updates would not overwrite my files if left in the default NX location.
