Configuration of a micro-hardness tester( Operation of the machine)

(OP)
Hi guys,

I have been trying to measure the hardness of materials using the Japanese Micro-hardness tester MHT-1,and I have found that the machine is giving out false answers and also its calibration is not the same 700HV.

Any help to this problem is welcomed..

RE: Configuration of a micro-hardness tester( Operation of the machine)

It would appear that the instrument is out of calibration. Contact the manufacturer and determine whether they will need to recalibrate it.
