(OP)
I am looking for the specific heat of molten (2750 F) cast iron.

RE: specific heat of molten cast iron

The only info I could find on this subject is from ASM HANDBOOK Volume 1:

Heat of fusion for ferritic and pearlitic grades of ductile iron is about 210 to 230 kJ/kg (90 to 99 Btu/lb).

RE: specific heat of molten cast iron

I assume you are looking for the heat capacity of liquid iron - a value I have from school work is 754 J kg-1 K-1.

The data TVP gave you, more correctly referred to as melting enthalpy, is for a different entity also needed for solidification analysis.

RE: specific heat of molten cast iron

You are on the right way CoryPad. I found a table for class 40 gray iron at

http://metalcasting.auburn.edu/data/Class_40_Iron/Class40Iron.html

giving 912 J/(kg*K) for 1400°C. The table does not exeed to 1510°C we need here. But there won´t be a great difference to the number we are looking for.
