How to model an electrical transmission line

How to model an electrical transmission line

(OP)
Hey,
I want to model an electrical transmission line to do time/frequency domain reflectometry measurements with it. Therefore I need something like a port to send voltage pulses in my model.
My model is a two-wire transmission line and I have problems to set up the right port for it.

I want to export the solution to a touchstone file and figured that it is possible via spswp command. Then plot it with pltd command. The problem is that it fails to write the touchstone file because I can't manage to set up the right port/port options. I tried now all different models with all different ports, the only one that worked was a coax cable.

Has anyone done anything like that before?
