Valve Cross sectional area calculation

Valve Cross sectional area calculation

Valve Cross sectional area calculation

(OP)
Hi,
i have a very simple question. I have the details of my valve such as valve command vs Cv . now i need to simulate this valve. but to do that i need to Feed Cross sectional area of the valve in to the model.
I want some one to help me give the equation to convert Valve Cv to Cross sectional area.
  I alsoi saw this equation CA= Cv*0.0264
but i am not sure about this number 0.0264. what is it actual. will this number change for my valve of 6 inches.
please advise soon. thank you in advance.
