Blow Down Study And Line Sizing

Hi! I'm facing a blow-down study for the first time: I'd like to know, according to your experience, if there's any reference (book/article) that covers properly this kind of problem. I could eventually use HYSYS to help. Any hint will be very very appreciated. Thank you.

API RP 521 is a good place to start.

RE: Blow Down Study And Line Sizing

This is an importan job and quite a lage one if this is for entire plant/installation. If its only for one vessel then its more about understanding thermo dynamics. I hope that you have good and experienced colleagues that can help you!

But API 521 is a good place to start.

Best regrads

Morten
