Order of features in assembly

In Creo, is there a way to reference existing patterns to a new imported reference, like a CopyGeom'd axis?  I had already imported a bunch of parts and referenced some of them to an axis in an earlier part.  Now, I want to delete that earlier part (and with it, the axis reference) and replace it with the new axis.  But imported references do not show up in the assembly tree, and there is no way to move a new imported reference to an earlier time in the assembly, so that it CAN be referenced by existing parts.

Any help would be great.  Thanks!

Forget it...dumb question.

Just insert a new part that is nothing more than the desired axis and move it to the top of the assembly tree.
