Hi,
I'm modelling a piezoelectric disc and I'd like to include damping coefficient given by 1/(omega*quality factor). I am using Direct Steady-State Dynamics, applying voltage at one electrode, while keeping the other fixed to zero V. However, I can't find any possibility of including this type of damping (dependant on frequency) in this analysis. On the other hand if I choose Modal Steady-State Dynamics, I can't apply Electric Potential BC.
Anyone could help with a hint?

Is there any possibility of including modal damping in direct steady-state? Is it possible to assign different values for different parts in the assembly?
As far as I found it is not possible from a part or assembly level (e.g. it is possible in ANSYS).
I am looking at the impedance of the piezoelectric actuator bonded to a mechanical structure. When no damping is specified the impedance curve contains plenty of resonances. Experimental data follows the same average value, but at most of the resonance peaks is flat due to damping.
Again, I will be grateful for any help.
