Add fixture to holes pinned together by a pin with a smaller diameter

Add fixture to holes pinned together by a pin with a smaller diameter

(OP)
Basically I have a large assembly with several pieces pinned together. Its a long hanging track that bows do to the difference in diameter of the pin and the hole. Each pin is 1/8" smaller than the hole its going through. I designed a plate to go between the track pieces to fix the bowing but I'm not sure how to accurately add a fixture to allow for this wobble room and run proper FEA to see the forces applied to the plate and subsequently transfered to the side of the track under compression.

Thanks for your time and help.

RE: Add fixture to holes pinned together by a pin with a smaller diameter

Move the part to the orientation that they will be in when installed.  Mate it in that orientation... i.e. rather than mating holes concentric, mate them tangent.  Then mate your pin tangent as well.  You will have to add additional mates to prevent movement.  When you run you FEA, make sure to have contact included.

When you post this on forum1183: SolidWorks: Simulation/FEA (COSMOS) make sure to include some sort of diagram to show what it is you are trying to do. It is greatly appreciated. We want to burn brain cells on figuring out how to solve the problem, not in figuring out what the problem is. Cheers.
