Post-expanded foam
Post-expanded foam
(OP)
I have a possible application for post-expanding foam. I am looking for some expert advice. I want to fill a large void between two sheets of material. The material needs to be rigid, hydrophobic, and light weight. I immediately thought of post-expanded foam like "Great Stuff" that is readily available at stores. However, the void is large and I am not sure about its feasibility for this application. Is it feasible? If so, who can I talk with to see about sampling the fill of the void?
Thank you,

RE: Post-expanded foam
I think you are on the right track with using the "Great Stuff" foam. You could also find an insulation guy in the "Yellow Pages" that uses expandable foam.
My guess is that using the canned foam will cost less if you only want to experiment.
