NXOPEN API Documentation

NXOPEN API Documentation

(OP)
I've been using the NXOPEN API recently, and have found the comments in the uf_*.h files to be pretty good. However, I would like to search or browse the API for some functionality, and guessing and checking each of the header files is not the most efficient way to do this. Is there a searchable compendium of documentation for these NX API calls? I've tried asking google and looking through the NX installation directory, but have been unable to find anything so far.

Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: NXOPEN API Documentation

Have you looked at the NX help files? There is an entire section on automation and NXOpen.

Do you mean through the 'Help' menu in NX? Going to Help->'NX Help' throws the error:

"Unable to display help information. Cannot find the HTML file."

Maybe I didn't install the help files when installing NX? (v7.5, by the way)

RE: NXOPEN API Documentation

Yes, the help files are a separate (and highly recommended) install process.
