Mirror a surface help required

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can assist me? If I have a surface and have modelled half (a car bonnet for example) and I want to mirror the other half, how can I ensure the 2 halves are in curvature (G2). I was told that some other CAD packages allow you to put an implied mirror constraint?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Mirror a surface help required

There is a command called edge symmetry that will do what you want. I'm not sure if you need a freeform license or shape studio license to use it.

Hi, I spotted that but couldn't quite figure out what it was doing :( I'll have another look, many thanks.
