Hi!
I made some parts and products in Catia V5 R20 at home, but in school we have R19, and I can't open them. Do you know if there is a way to make this possible, or convert the files somehow? I really do not want to do the parts all over again :)

doubt it, that was always the case with future versions. export as stp and import them, but they will be only dumb solids.

I think there is a possibility of backward compatibility, but I've never managed to make it work (CATIA reports some problem with the licence, even though it was perfectly legal/educational copy of v5r19)... Go to Tools>Utilities>DownwardCompatibility (it says it can save compatible down to v5r6)

no but i guess you should download a "home" copy of R19
