Typically foundation is poured first and then concrete pedestals (see attached sketch). How is shear checked in this construction joint?

Shear friction per ACI.

i have yet to see a program excel or software that has an option to consider the effects of construction joint between pedestal and footing. i'm interested to know the effects as well if there is any.
