i.get.it training

did anyone try it, is it any good, esp. on the advanced subjects? does it have any projects to work on?
you can find a ton of tutorials on the basics on the internet, but nothing on the advanced stuff...
which package did you buy, if you did buy the training?

RE: i.get.it training

I had i.get.it at another company a few years ago and it was great.

You can probably get a 30-day free trial if you ask your salesman nicely.

RE: i.get.it training

There are a lot of projects and what they call "tryits" small spicific exercises.  The advances topics the covered well Free From Modeling, Advanced Assemblies and Manufacturing.  For the price it is fairly cheep.  Comtact them and see about a free trial but for $195. per year for all the modeling and CAM topics its worth the investment.

and yes I did used to work for them so I may have a bias opinion.
Although the client list includes GM, NASA, 3-M and GE

Dont waste your money.

RE: i.get.it training

My opinion is that is was OK for the basics, but not so much for advance training.

The other thing I didn't like was the time limit.  I think you should pay for the educational material based on the content, not the time. We had a big project come up and I didn't get to finish the last course.

are there any projects to break you in? individual work with the video off, recap about the best practices/ help along the way?
