Modeling an RMU in SKM

Modeling an RMU in SKM

(OP)
Greetings everybody

How I can model a MV Ring Main Unit in SKM?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Modeling an RMU in SKM

I don't use SKM, but a ring main unit is just two ring switches that can either be open or closed, and a tee off circuit breaker or fuseswitch. That shouldn't be difficult to model.

Marmite

RE: Modeling an RMU in SKM

Hi burntcoil

If by SKM you mean Powertool for Windows then there is no specific RMU device. I just use two isolators/links and a breaker or fuse as appropriate as mentioned by marmite.

Regards.
