Hiding Parts and Assemblies

Hiding Parts and Assemblies

Hiding Parts and Assemblies

(OP)
   SW2011 SP4.0.

I have created an assembly.  I have multiple configurations, one of which is to show the assembly of components into a cover.  When I hide all the stuff that is not attached to the cover, the hiding affects all the configurations.  I tried the hide icon.  I tried hiding from the properties window.  I tried hiding from the properties window, selecting the configurations in which the components are to be hidden, both inside and outside the configuration.

When I hide a component, the component is hidden in all my configurations.

Has anyone else encountered this?  Is there a setting that will fix this?  I cannot find anything.

RE: Hiding Parts and Assemblies

Is the "Link Display States to Configurations" box checked on at the bottom of the configuration manager?

JMarv,

Thank you.  I just found the Display Manager.  The button is now clicked.
