NX 7.5 and a SpacePilot Pro

Good afternoon,

Does anybody have problem using NX 7.5 and a SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse?

I am running the latest drivers for the SpacePilot and it is still very sticky when I rotate?

I would realy appreciate any advise!

Regards,

Zach

RE: NX 7.5 and a SpacePilot Pro

I don't have any problems and the 3DxWare version I'm running is 6,11,1,0.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Atleast now I know that it is not the spaceball.

Our IT department blames the spaceball, which it is not!

Thank you!

Zach

What do you mean with "Sticky"?

Could it perhaps be that "Dominant Axis" is enabled?

(So if you rotate in 2 directions at the same time with the hand, only one is rotated on the computer)

Good morning FrankHA,

When I rotate mthe model with the spaceball, it doesn't rotate freely.
It will rotate a bit and then stop for a moment and then rotate again.

The "dominant Axis" is disabled.

Our local NX supplier came to our office to have a look. They think it might be that our pc's are under spec for what we are trying to do.

Not sure but only time will tell.
We are going to upgrade my pc to find out if that is the case.

Thank you for your responce!

Regards,

Zach
